Paula Bolton was working with the Hungarian Art Gallery in Glasgow on jewellery based on Edvard Munch's The Scream when she came across a wonderfully simple sketch by Mackintosh that she thought was crying to be turned into jewellery!
This artistic cuff is in the typical style of Glasgow born artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh. It has been expertly crafted in Sterling Silver with 18ct Yellow Gold plating to highlight the signature Charles Rennie Mackintosh patterns. The part of the cuff that surrounds the wrist is split to further echo the Mackintosh inspiration. To finish It features an oval cabochon garnet bezel set into the centre of the design.
