Paula Bolton Margaret MacDonald Collection Turquoise Earrings
Paula Bolton is a jewellery designer inspired by the Impressionism, Symbolism, Art Nouevau and Secessionist movements. Her pieces are handcrafted in Sterling Silver by a family of ethical jewellery manufacturers on the beautiful Indonesian island of Bali.
This collection is typical of English born and Glasgow taught Artist, Margaret MacDonald, who worked closely with Mackintosh when her work became one of the defining features of the "Glasgow Style" during the 1890s. Inspirations from the Margaret MacDonald gesso panels in Kelvingrove Museum & Art Gallery.
These earrings have been expertly crafted in Copper with linear Sterling Silver detailing. A vibrant Turquoise gemstone bezel set in Sterling Silver drops from the earring base and is framed by plain silver drops on either side. They are finished with Sterling Silver butterfly backs to ensure secure wear.
