9ct Yellow Gold Art Deco Reproduction Red Ruby and Diamond Ring – Size N

This dress ring has been expertly crafted in warm, shining 9ct Yellow Gold. She features a round cut Ruby set into a crimped bezel setting in the centre of the design. The central Ruby is flanked with two equally vibrant, baguette-cut, Rubies on either side. To finish this ring off there are multiple glimmering Diamonds set into steps of Gold at various heights. These steps have been Rhodium Plated to ensure maximum sparkle in those Diamonds. 

The gallery on this ring features a delicately pierced out pattern that allows the light to flow into the back of the Ruby and Diamond gemstones.

Art Deco sometimes referred to as Deco, is a style of visual arts, architecture and design that first appeared in France just before World War 1. It took its name, short for Arts Décoratifs, (from the Exposition Internationale Des Arts Decoratifs Et Industrial Arts) held in Paris in 1925. It combined modernist styles with fine craftsmanship and rich materials. During its heyday, Art Deco represented luxury, glamour, exuberance, and faith in social and technological progress. Some key indications that jewellery is Art Deco-inspired are; a central stone set with Diamonds compacted around it, angular settings and cushion/baguette-cut gemstones of vibrant colour.
