This sterling silver ring is particularly unusual. It features a square-cut, rose-pink ruby that has been expertly checkerboard faceted across the top surface to show off its many pink tones.
What makes this piece even more unusual is that the ruby almost appears to sparkle. Rubies are typically either cloudy or clear, but this one has grain-like inclusions that catch the light and radiate a subtle shimmer.
Ruby is the birthstone of July.
